About Me

Donovan Weathers (he/him) is a versatile painter, illustrator, and muralist creating accessible multimedia art and murals. Utilizes contemporary 2D and 3D software techniques in combination with traditional painting skills to create surreal landscapes a designs.

Recent BFA graduate currently working with artists and communities around the Golden Triangle Area for public and private
work since 2021.

Artist Statement

Donovan Weathers is a multimedia painter creating surreal landscapes. Traditionally merging digital and physical spaces, his work explores our various methods of archiving information to reignite distant memories, feelings, and sensations. Each painting is a physical expression of the ephemeral human experiences we preserve over time. Existing as a window into the transient gap between any two moments, an action and reaction, the time between the seen and the forgotten.
